[It was a fairly typical day in Luceti. The weather was starting to improve. Not by much yet, but it was improving. The snow had been starting to melt, it's steadily getting warmer...

...And people were starting to arrive in Luceti again. New faces, old faces, even long-forgotten faces. And on this particular day, it's the second of these that can be spotted passing through the village, as a boy with messy black hair in New Feather garb floats through the plaza seated atop... a strange flying white bird?]

Doesn't look like this place's changed a bit, huh, Togetaro? ...Oh, right, I guess you wouldn't know. Well, whatever! Come on, onward, in that direction! [He gives a forceful point in the direction of the shops. His memories were a bit fuzzy, but he thankfully remembered enough to know how to get back to the village and get his stuff.]

[After retrieving his things, Gold decides to hit up the journal.]

So, how long was I gone from this place? And you guys better not've given away my room, you hear me?

Ahh, geez! [He flails a bit from being caught in Crys' deathgrip.] I return, and this is how you greet me?!

Shut up! [That grip on you isn't going away anytime soon.] ... I missed you, dummy.

I wasn't even gone all that long, you know. You should have more faith in me than this.

You're just asking me to kick you right now! [SHE WILL DO IT. JUST LET HER. HAVE A HUG FOR THAT LITTLE BIT LONGER.]

Well, that sounds more like the serious gal I know and love! [gosh fine just don't squeeze the life out of him.]

[Again with the serious gal... except it registers that she needs to tell everyone he's back. Starting with Silver. SO YEAH that hug is stopping now.] I need to tell Silver! He had a rough time on the mission before you left... this ought to cheer him up. C'mon!

[She's gently tugging on his arm for him to follow. Come ooooon your biffle is waiting.]

W-w-wa--hey, quit pullin'! [HE CAN WALK JUST FINE THANK YOU. Don't need you directing him where to go. He remembers, gosh.]

[Okay, fine, she'll let go of you. But she's still walking up pretty quickly to Silver's room because she's happy and they're all here and everything's great.

Also knocking on Silver's door now.] Silver? Are you in there?

[Screw knocking, who does that? GOLD OPENS THE DOOR.]

[... she ain't even mad, w/e. She'll just follow him in.] Silv--

[She's cut short when she sees his entire room, cleaned out. And a good majority of that happiness from a minute ago is gone in a flash.] ... not him now.

Crys... [So she thinks Silver's gone now...]

[At that exact moment, he carefully opens the front door and he and Weavile peek into the house. ...Yes. Yes, this is absolutely where they all live. He tries to be quiet about entering though. No sense in making a huge fuss. ...He should check his room. Is his stuff still there? How long has it been, anyway?...

Silver is heading over to his room!

He has no idea that a distressed Crys and a... Gold... Gold await him.]

[Gold glances back in the hallway to see Silver coming their way. He motions with a nod of his head for him to come over.]

[Oh, Gold's back?

-Alright, alright, he's coming over. He's still obscured from Crys' vision, but he's nearby now!]

[He whispers to Silver.] Crys thinks you're gone.

[...Wait, what? No, he's right here. In the flesh, absolutely here. ...Unless this is a dream. Then he's not too sure.]

Silver starts stepping inside the room-]

[And Gold's arm goes right in Silver's way.

Dude, give her a moment before you make your valiant return. Just watch. [And now pushing Silver back past the door frame, and entering the room himself.]

[Crys in the meanwhile, just slowly sinks to the floor. She's starting to feel incredibly tired, what with her emotions flying all over the place. Soon enough, her head is in her hand, and there's an exhausted sigh. Yeah, she's kinda done right now.] It's better like this, right? He deserves to be at home...

[Keep telling yourself that, maybe you'll believe it.]

[Gold walks over to in front of her and crouches down, placing his hands on her shoulders.]

You shouldn't try and delude yourself like that, Crys. I get what you mean, but you shouldn't try and force yourself to be happy with it.

[Gold, stop being right all the time and seeing through her, it makes things worse-- she looks up at him with melancholic eyes.] ... I really liked it when it was all three of us together.

I know... I did too. [He casts his gaze downward.]

It's not really fair, huh?

[Gold why are you- can't he just-]

[There's a long pause before she shakes her head, clenching her eyes shut.] It's not fair at all.

[Shush let him work his magic, Silver. He'll let you know when it's time.] Just let it all out, Crys. It's better to get it out instead of lettin' it consume you.

[She's honestly finding it a bit strange that Gold is being so... nice. But right now, she doesn't care to ask.] I know he didn't like it here that much, but we were all together, so it was okay. It felt right.
