[It was a fairly typical day in Luceti. The weather was starting to improve. Not by much yet, but it was improving. The snow had been starting to melt, it's steadily getting warmer...

...And people were starting to arrive in Luceti again. New faces, old faces, even long-forgotten faces. And on this particular day, it's the second of these that can be spotted passing through the village, as a boy with messy black hair in New Feather garb floats through the plaza seated atop... a strange flying white bird?]

Doesn't look like this place's changed a bit, huh, Togetaro? ...Oh, right, I guess you wouldn't know. Well, whatever! Come on, onward, in that direction! [He gives a forceful point in the direction of the shops. His memories were a bit fuzzy, but he thankfully remembered enough to know how to get back to the village and get his stuff.]

[After retrieving his things, Gold decides to hit up the journal.]

So, how long was I gone from this place? And you guys better not've given away my room, you hear me?

[He's not sure if he should have expected this or not. He feels like, retroactively, he should have, but how can you expect it at the time? As it is, he's just frozen in place here in the plaza, held by some force in his own gut]

[When Gold hears his name called, he stops to look in the direction it came from, only to see Masaomi.

Rather than fly over, he opts to hop off of Togetaro and walk over to him instead, the angry white flying Pokémon trailing behind him.]

Heeeeey, Masaomi!

[He forces a smile on his face which in no way meets his eyes and "relaxes" his pose, waving a hand for the other. He doesn't even look any different...]

Hey, hey.

[Gold folds his arms behind his head as he greets his friend.]

You're still here in this place, huh?

[Still] So it seems, yeah.

Man, I haven't seen you in years, but you look the same as ever! It's like you haven't aged a day! [Uhh... About that...]

[Years, huh. He tilts his head to the side, looking confused a moment, and then shrugs] Well, you know how it goes. I'm very youthful.

Yeah? So what's new in this place then? [While Gold remains oblivious, Togetaro seems to glaring at Masaomi.]

New...? Well, we're closing in on White Day, and I had a very interesting Valentines.

Oh yeah?

Definitely! You could even say I found true love in a pbottle of hair dye.

...? You dyed your hair then?

No, no, this girl who was into me signed on for it. She dyed her hair black.

Did she dye it just so you'd go for her?

Totally did. I mean, I could see it in her eyes.

And yet you didn't return the favor for her and dye your hair.

Whaaat, I look better like this. I'm distinguished, between this hair [And he gives a wafting style hair flip, getting in the story and character] and these surprisingly youthful looks all this time later? I'm thinking of bringing back the facial hair, but otherwise, I'm pretty perfect!
