So, Charizard. Is it true Ashy-boy here left you behind at this "Charred Valley" or whatever?

[ Hmmm well... he wouldn't put it quite like that but he did stay behind at the Valley yes. So he nods. ]

So whose idea was that? Yours or his?

[ Charizard huffs. It was Ash's idea to keep him there to get stronger.

Alright, listen up. I'm gonna give you a piece of advice. From one trainer to another.

Pokémon can only reach their true strength growin' alongside their trainers. Charizard here's never gonna reach his full potential if you don't help him do it.

I thought I was helpin' him when I told him to stay there with someone who knew 'bout trainin' Charizard.

[ He's starting to feel a little guilty about it but-- ]

And he had gotten stronger! And now that he's with me he'll get even stronger!

He shoulda been with you the whole time. Nobody knows trainin' a Pokémon better than that Pokémon's trainer! [Gold can only give you hell on this because he did the exact same thing with Togetaro. He didn't work with Togetaro the way he did with his other Pokémon.]

Y-Yeah, you're probably right. But he's with me now so if Charizard wants I can make up for it!

[Well, Charizard? Gold's looking at you. What do you say to Ash's proposal? He's got a lot of making up to do. Or maybe hardly any at all. He's still ten, after all.]

[ Charizard nods to Ash's proposal. He can agree to it because hey he can't deny more training and battles. ]

Great. Just make sure you two don't stand under these Mistletoe while you do it.

Well I was also plannin' on tryin' to catch one. So maybe I can weaken one with Charizard before I do!
