03 [Voice]

[The journal clicks on. There's the sound of someone chewing on the other end, and a bit of sauce drips on the page. Seems he found a plate of burgers on the table. They're a bit cold, but nothing a little heating up in the microwave can't handle. Good thing he comes from a modern world that knows how to use them, huh?

Finally, he has to pause in between burgers, in order to stifle a yawn. Looks like he woke up not too long ago. Soon after, he takes a bite of a burger, and begins to speak.]

You know... [A swallow, and there's another drip.] I feel like I just woke up from a really bad dream. But since I'm still here, it feels like one of those cases where you just woke up from a dream you were having in a dream. You know, like you see in cartoons sometimes!

[Nom again, then swallow.] But this place is real, isn't it? Luceti's no dream, as much as I'd love to just wake up in my own bed, surrounded by my partners, as my mom makes breakfast. Ah well...

...

...These burgers need more kick to them.

That whole experience, with the missing colors and... and those things!

I don't know anything about that. I just know that you and at least ten other people went missing at the same time.

So that really wasn't a dream, then...

I guess it depends on who was in your dream.

Paru was there, and this bandanna lad named Tir, along with that supernatural fanatic, Haruki. There was some chick yelling for everyone to come to the fountain.

Uh huh. Well, I made a list of the people that I've found out were missing...

[The next bit is written.]

You, Adell, Paru, Winry, Mikage, Katie, Tir, Ty Lee, Longshot, Haruki, and Naoki.

[And voice:] That's three out of eleven.

I definitely remember there being a lot more than that there.

Did you see Winry there? She's a blond girl, a little older than I am... she's always at the smithy.

[mischiefbreeder]

Hmm... [He finishes off his current burger.]

Tall, with a fairly large bosom?

[markofthewise]

She's not that tall. [And he's seen bigger, but...] That sounds about right. Long hair... usually in a ponytail. Blue eyes.

[mischiefbreeder]

Don't remember talking to her, but yeah, I think someone fitting that description was there.

[markofthewise]

So she would be back too...

Oh, uh. What did you mean by missing colors?

Exactly what it sounds like.

[markofthewise]

So... everything was in black and white. [Until someone else collaborates this dream, he's still skeptical.]

Everything except the people, that is.

Why would the Malnosso want you guys to all share some big dream?

Dunno. But if we were actually missing, then something tells me that was more than a dream.

Looks like we'll need to have a talk with Haruki.

What? Why Haruki?

He was acting strange. Something was up with him.

[markofthewise]

Maybe he noticed everything was black and white. [Although Sokka couldn't help but notice that it seemed like the Brigade itself was missing. So Gold could be onto something.]

[mischiefbreeder]

It was more than that. He seemed normal enough when we first got there, but he looked like he was having a nervous breakdown by the end.

Haruki never struck me as the most mentally stable guy around.

[mischiefbreeder]

You can't be that stable if you believe in the things he does so strongly! It was still weird, though.

...Argh, if only I could remember what we had talked about!

Well, he should be back if everyone else is. We'll find out soon enough.
